The BES Roadies are back with fun, hands-on ecology at the Sex & Bugs & Rock ’n Roll stall and this time they’re serving up a healthy portion of edible ecology. Alongside last year’s favourites, you can find out how very hungry caterpillars really are, try your hand at greenfly fishing or just drop by to explore ecology in a relaxed environment.  We have free, fun and fascinating activities for all ages, with plenty of stickers, prizes and giveaways.

In 2013, the British Ecological Society celebrated its 100th birthday at Wychwood Festival and we're delighted to welcome them back for 2014. Last year BES brought along a team of enthusiastic young ecologists and students ran the stall Sex and Bugs and Rock ‘n Roll, where you could discover the fun side of Ecology with entertaining hands-on activities.

Festival goers could find out how to grow a wildflower meadow, see the microbes on their festival feet, discover which plants and bugs inhabit the festival site and pick up a load of stickers, prizes and other giveaways!
