Crowsaw

Hobgoblin Stage, Sunday 2015

Crowsaw

Crowsaw are a home-grown trio producing riff-driven contemporary heavy blues rock with soul, blending the grooving sensibilities of Hendrix with the uncompromising heads-down drive of Sabbath and the swagger of Zeppelin, all fused with modern tones. With a rock solid lock-step rhythm section of Mark Pullin drums/backing vocal and Glyn Mason bass/backing vocal, overlaid with Rob Lomax’s fluid guitar pyrotechnics and gritty vocals, this is as fresh as it gets. Imagine heavy driving riff based tunes with intricate yet powerful drums, heavy funky bass lines, screaming guitar and big vocals and you have Crowsaw. Influenced by Hendrix, Gallagher, Bonamassa, Alterbridge, Shinedown and many more, the band formed in 2010. Initially a rock covers band, they soon set their sights on a heavier, blues/alternative rock fusion.
