Jay Cowle is a stand-up comedian, writer, & actor currently previewing his third Edinburgh show: We The Chemicals. He is a Finalist of the Reading New Act & New Act of The Year (NATY) competitions. Jay was shortlisted for the BBC New Act of The Year Award broadcast on BBC Radio 4. Book Jay for a cat's party.
Alongside Turtle Canyon Comedy Jay has written and starred in his first short film Rebuild Me. He’s now writing a feature film comedy called Don’t Kick Off. Together with Alex Holland Jay produces a fortnightly improvised sketch podcast called The Holland & Cowle Podcast. The podcast was recently recomended by comedy website Chortle. The guys are recording a third series and working on their dance moves.
Jay was a finalist in the NATY New Act Of The Year competition in 2013 and finalist of the Hobgoblin Comedy Award. His killer one liners and sharply meandering observations on the world are sure to have you chuckling.
