Rusty Shackle

Rusty Shackle are an indie folk band from Wales that have been captivating audiences with their incredible live performances since the early months of 2010. They combine guitars, fiddle, banjo, bass, mandola, trumpet, tenor guitar, drums and tight vocal harmonies to create a sound that is unique to them and one that instantly fills you with emotion and energy!

With years of touring, and a large and loyal fan base already in place, Rusty Shackle have found themselves to be seasoned regulars on the British festival circuit. During 2013 the band played at more than twenty festivals all over the UK which included Glastonbury and Cambridge Folk Festival. The summer of 2014 saw the band cross the Atlantic to America, where they performed in half a dozen cities across three different states.

As well as playing masses of live shows the band have managed to release two albums and an EP over the past few years. Rusty Shackle released their debut album Wash Away These Nights in 2011. In 2012 Rusty Shackle won 'Cardiff's Big Gig' competition which saw them gain a performing slot at the 2012 Olympic Torch Relay Concert in Cooper’s Field, Cardiff.
