Jo Cotterill has a background in music, acting and teaching, but now focuses her efforts on writing. She lives down the road in Oxfordshire and says she loves starting a story and not really knowing where it’s going. For me, the magic of writing is not knowing what’s going to come out of your imagination next. Jo’s books mainly appeal to the 9-13 age group.

This year Jo will be reading from Electrigirl, a story about Holly Sparkes, an average 12-year-old, who is hit by a bolt of lightning and becomes extraordinary!
