We’re delighted to have the Ben Cipolla Band on the Main Stage on Saturday. The band combine stunning vocals with catchy tunes and a brass section to create a great party atmosphere. Originally from Wiltshire, Ben started out as a solo act, but now has an eight piece band who play a collection of soulful covers, as well as his own material.

He was recently championed by Radio 2 presenter Clare Teal, who says he is writing “terrific songs”. Ben duetted with Clare at the Marlborough Jazz festival where they were voted ‘Best Newcomer Of The Year’. Ben has also played alongside Eliza Carthy at the Weymouth Olympic Ceremony and performed at Glastonbury 2014.

His vocals are like having liquid chocolate dripped in your ears, smooth and rich, a truly spectacular instrument
