Chris Smee

Dubbed as the south-west’s answer to Ed Sheeran, 19-year old singer-songwriter Chris Smee has been garnering national support ever since exploding onto the mainstream music scene back in 2015 with his debut solo EP, Identity.

First picking up the guitar at the age of 8 (when the violin course at his school was full), Chris had multiple stints of playing in a band, before dedicating his time to solo work.

Inspired by Busted and McFly, but influenced by Ed Sheeran and Deaf Havana, the 5-track EP has boosted Chris into the realms of critical recognition, allowing him the opportunity to perform at venues and festivals across the UK, including London’s esteemed Kensington Roof Gardens.

Following the positive reception of Identity, Chris has released his debut album, Ability, whilst touring the UK as part of an ongoing national schools tour. With festival season fast-approaching, Chris is earning the sort of respect from fans and pundits that will inevitably land him on this summer's festival circuit.
