Jerry Williams
Big Top, Friday 2018
British singer/songwriter Jerry Williams emerged in 2014 with a self-released EP of sweetly sung, tuneful folk-pop titled A Hairdressers Called Sids. The Portsmouth native who cites Kate Nash, Slow Club, and Jamie T among her influences, introduced a playful style which paired laid-back acoustic songwriting with clever, narrative wordplay.
2015's Cold Beer EP found Williams beginning to work toward the bigger pop-oriented production style she would use on her breezy 2016 release Let's Just Forget It.
