John Dougherty

Author, poet, songwriter and huge festival favourite John Dougherty has written tons of original and laugh-out-loud books and last year his picture book A Pig up my Nose won the Oscar's Book Prize 2018.
This year he will be reading from the first of his Stinkbomb and Ketchup-Face series: Stinkbomb and Ketchup-Face and the Badness of Badgers.
Why the first book when there are six in this wonderful series? – perhaps it's the author's favourite, perhaps because it was chosen as the Times Children's book of the week or maybe it's just because those badgers are at their badgery best. Come and ask him! No doubt John will be bringing his trusty guitar for a trademark crazy sing-along too. We are so lucky and couldn’t be more pleased that John is with us at Wychwood again this year.
