At the start of 2024, The Callbirds set off from their Cheltenham hometown and hit the road with Clearwater Creedence Revival on their 40th Anniversary Bayou County tour. They had recorded their debut album Take Flight, just a few months prior and it wasn’t long until the album’s first singles Small Talk and Why, My Love? flew the nest. Take Flight took to the skies shortly after in June of 2024. Since then the band has played up and down the UK, frequenting venues such as The Troubadour London, Half Moon Putney, Mr.Wolf’s Bristol and The Frog and Fiddle in Cheltenham, plus sharing their noise on occasional jaunts across the pond in LA and New York.

Amongst the madness of live shows the band also found some time to record new material between many world class studios including Abbey Road, Metropolis, Dean Street and Sound Factory Los Angeles. By June 2025 they were ready to share Love Leftover, the first single off of their upcoming album … followed by their Christmas EP recorded in New York’s very own Flux Studios.
