Flat caps on, pints up. The Lancashire Hotpots are coming down from St Helens with a bag full of daft songs about everyday northern life.

Bernard and the boys mix proper folk and knees-up music with lyrics about the things that really matter: pies, real ale, the chippy and the struggle of leaving the house with everything you need. Chippy Tea, The Girl From Bargain Booze, I Fear Ikea, Keys Wallet Phone, Egg Sausage Chips & Beans and Has The Bin Man Bin, Mon? are all firm favourites. They've played Glastonbury and the main stage at Kendal Calling, topped the iTunes comedy chart and sell out theatres and clubs across the country. Even Jason Manford says they make him laugh every time.

You don't need to be from Lancashire to get the jokes. You just need to like a good sing-song and a bit of a giggle.
