Supergrass
Headlining: Sam’s Stage (Main Stage), Friday 2027
They were last here in 2009. Now Supergrass are coming back to Wychwood.
Gaz Coombes, Danny Goffey and Mick Quinn got together in Oxford in 1993, and within two years their debut I Should Coco had gone straight to number one. It was a record full of teenage energy, and it gave us Caught By The Fuzz, Mansize Rooster, Lenny and the summer anthem Alright. Rob Coombes joined on keys, and the hits kept coming: Going Out, Richard III, Sun Hits The Sky, Pumping On Your Stereo, Moving and Grace.
Six albums later the band called it a day in 2010, then reunited in 2019 for a world tour that proved how much people had missed them. In 2025 they played I Should Coco in full for its 30th anniversary.
For 2027 the plan is different. Gaz says they'll be digging through all the records, pulling out the hits alongside a few deep cuts. Expect a big sing-along, plenty of bounce and some proper Britpop nostalgia.
