We’re absolutely thrilled to welcome Britpop icons Supergrass and synth-pop pioneers The Human League to the Racecourse as our Friday and Saturday headliners. Two bands with songs that have soundtracked decades, and we can’t think of a better way to see out a night at Wychwood than with Alright and Don’t You Want Me ringing out across the field.
Thursday is back, and we’re kicking off the weekend in serious style with the legendary David Rodigan MBE. A true icon of reggae and sound system culture, Rodigan has been entertaining crowds for over five decades, and there’s no one better to get four unforgettable days started.
We can also announce that taking to the Sam Shrouder Main Stage is a brilliant run of artists. We’re delighted to be welcoming indie favourites Razorlight, Glaswegian trio The Fratellis, the wonderful Natalie Imbruglia, Sheffield’s finest Reverend & The Makers, and indie anthem-makers Hard-Fi. We’re also very proud to host the incredible Amy Winehouse Band back to the Racecourse, celebrating Amy’s music with the musicians who played alongside her. Add in country-pop star Twinnie, Wickedly Ariana, the mighty Lancashire Hotpots, Wychwood staples Thrill Collins, and the brilliantly bonkers Elvis fronted Nirvana tribute band Elvana (it needs to be seen to be believed.)
We’re also delighted to welcome some true greats, with Madchester legends Inspiral-Carpets and Britpop favourites Dodgy joining the bill.
As always, we’re incredibly proud to shine a light on some of the headliners of tomorrow. From The Molotovs to Woody Cook, Toast Club and Good Health, Good Wealth a glimpse into the future of the festival circuit.
Our much-loved Howlin’ Pete’s returns once again, packed to the rafters with silliness, singalongs and late-night magic. Expect NOASIS, The X & Y, Raves R Us, Hip Hop Karaoke plus the chaos of Play Your Cards. Tracey Collins is back, this time as Mr Worldwide Fitbull, chap-hop hero Mr B The Gentleman Rhymer, Not A Band, and local favourites Witney Soul Club.
And of course, it wouldn’t be our award-winning Family Festival of the Year without the Village Green. With over 100 free activities and workshops across the whole weekend, it’s always bursting with creativity, colour and fun for kids (and big kids!) from morning till night.
There’s still plenty more to come over the next few weeks, including your Sunday night headliner …bear with us, it’s worth the wait.
With 40% of camping tickets remaining, we can’t thank you enough for the love. Sign up now for the priority pre-sale on Thursday.
Speak very soon, we can’t wait to share what’s next!
