Wychwood Festival

Cheltenham Racecourse

20th Edition

Next wave of artists for Wychwood 2026 has landed!

We’re over the moon to share the next wave of artists joining us for our 20th edition this summer. Wychwood Festival 2026 is shaping up to be something truly special, and this next announcement feels like a real celebration of everything the festival has come to stand for over the last two decades.

Levellers

We’re absolutely thrilled to welcome Levellers back to the Racecourse to see out your Sunday night. One of the most beloved – and still the most requested! - acts in our history, their return feels perfectly timed. There’s something incredibly fitting about closing Sunday our 20th celebrations with a band whose spirit, songs and sense of community mirror the very heart of Wychwood.

Kaiser Chiefs to perform at Wychwood Festival 2026
Kaiser Chiefs

Joining them are the already announced kings of indie rock Kaiser Chiefs, alongside a brilliant flurry of Sam Shrouder Main Stage artists. We’re delighted to be welcoming British rock titans Feeder, pop royalty Sophie Ellis-Bextor, indie-pop heroes The Pigeon Detectives, and the legendary Boney M. It’s a line-up packed with sing-along moments, hands-in-the-air joy and those unforgettable shared experiences that make Wychwood what it is.

For the first time ever, we’re opening the gates on Thursday, and we honestly couldn’t think of a better way to kick off the weekend than with the unstoppable Dutty Moonshine Big Band. Expect big beats, brass-fuelled chaos and the perfect warm-up to four unforgettable days together.

We’re also incredibly proud to be shining a light on some of the headliners of tomorrow. From local heroes and chart-toppers Nuns Of The Tundra, to heavy hitters Bloodworm, Leeds-based dance-punk outfit Adult DVD, singer-songwriter Pia Rose, and modernist pop visionaries Pale Blue Eyes - this is a glimpse into the future of the festival, and it’s looking very bright indeed.

Fleetwood Bac to perform at Wychwood Festival 2026
Fleetwood Bac

Our much-loved Howlin’ Pete’s returns this year, once again packed to the rafters with silliness, singalongs and late-night magic. Expect the mighty Wychwood staple Barrioke, the chaotic joy of the Vibe Roulette Gameshow, The Ogretones – the UK’s number one tribute to the Shrek soundtrack – and our now-resident Sunday night tribute slot, going to Fleetwood Bac. Trust us… you won’t want to miss it.

And of course, it wouldn’t be our award-winning Family Festival of the Year without the Village Green. With over 100 free activities and workshops across the whole weekend, it’s always bursting with creativity, colour and fun, packed full of things for kids (and big kids!) to enjoy from morning till night.

There’s still plenty more to come over the next few weeks, including that all-important Friday headliner …bear with us; it’s worth the wait.

With 80% of camping tickets already sold out, we can’t thank you enough for the love. You can sign up for the priority pre-sale, available this Monday, with general sale following on Tuesday.
