Harpers Ferry is a Gloucestershire-based five-piece ‘nu-Americana’ rock band.

Named after the site of John Brown’s celebrated American Civil War uprising, the band has been widely described as a highly original fusion of rock, country, blues and folk, inspired by the great American ‘singer- songwriter’ tradition of the late 60s/early 70s, but with an absolutely contemporary vibe, a melodic, harmony-driven sound and a heartfelt, lyrical feel.

The band have played a slew of big festival stages such as Wychwood, Lakefest and Moseley Folk Festival as well as shows across the UK and Europe.

Harpers Ferry continues to pound the road in 2018 with only a brief pause to return to the studio later this year to work on their follow-up to Lightbulb Moments with award- winning producer James Towler.
