Slick, smart and very ambitious
Essex boy Johnny Cochrane’s infectious charisma and cheeky charm landed him his own comedy sketch series on CBBC, alongside Inel Tomlinson. The Johnny & Inel Show, which he created, wrote and performed in, was met with critical praise, leading to nominations for two Royal Television Society Awards for Best Comedy Programme and Best Performance in a Comedy.
His debut stand-up show, Appeal, at the Edinburgh Fringe, was followed by a Soho Theatre run. He has appeared regularly on programmes including Safe Word (ITV2), The Funny Thing About (C5), The Dog Ate My Homework (CBBC), Sunday Brunch (C4), All Over the Place (CBBC) and Match of The Day Kickabout (BBC). He also appears regularly on radio, and presented two high-energy shows on both Fubar and Virgin.
