Mixing psychedelia with ambient indie rock and trip-hop bass lines, Watercolours are a three-piece outfit from Cheltenham with a unique genre-crossing sound.

Drawing influence from bands such as Foals, Beach House, Real Estate and Wild Beasts, the group pride themselves in their ability to create a big sound, both live and on the record. Having met at university as friends long before Watercolours was ever conceived as an idea, the group have a natural and solid sense of identity between them.

The boys have a clear direction and focus for where they want to be, from spending over a year planning, rehearsing and writing material. The resulting sound of the band is polished and direct, with the trio's clean-cut, minimal aesthetic and DIY marketing and production.
