In late 2015, deep in the heart of the West Midlands, The Americas were formed by Harry Payne (vocals/Bass) and Aaron Whittaker (Guitar/Organ) along with young-gun Alex Bradshaw (Drums) to help bring the vision to life. Bonding over a mutual appreciation for 60s/70s Rock, Roll, Punk and Gospel, the three dropped everything current in their lives, deciding instead to chase that thin wild mercury sound that howled out from the records that they loved.
