Let’s welcome Smriti Prasadam-Halls to Wychwood together. She is such a lovely and fabulous author of over 30 books for young readers who just love her stories. Her books are firm favourites with grown up people who like to read aloud to children too.
Smriti has written stories about wolves, aliens, whales, pumpkins, monkeys, and even a vegetable eating dinosaur but at the festival this year she will be reading from her new picture book Don't make me cross, which is illustrated by Angie Rozelaar.
It's Little Monster's birthday and his friends are coming to his party. But it's not much fun playing party games with someone who always has to win or having birthday tea with someone who wants ALL the food for himself. It's time this grumpy, grouchy Monster learned how to behave!
With funny rhyming text and delightful illustrations, come and enjoy this fabulous book – even little monsters are very welcome!
Smriti will be joined by our trained signer so we can all learn how to sign some of the words in Don’t Make Me Cross.
