Remember your childhood days when you and your best friend attempted to talk through two tin cans attached to a string? Or when your children make beautiful music with your home cutlery? Well you can experience this all over again and more at Wychwood this summer if you take the opportunity to explore Meadow!
Meadow is an area of hands on activities, offering an amazing array of entertainment, from interactive music sessions to learning about ecology with Sex, Bugs and Rock and Roll or even some brilliant balancing with Slacklining!
Simon Chainey Fire Show
Simon’s solo show is visually stunning, combining fire, music and comedy to give a real wow factor. Simon Chainey is an accomplished performer based in Bournemouth. Several years ago Simon turned his love of circus skills from a hobby into a full time profession by founding FLAME, a group of performers specialising in high-energy fire shows.
More recently Simon has diversified into street performing and uses his incredible skill and stage presence to great effect.
Ru-Slack will be providing you with a chance to try the balance craze ‘Slacklining’. A little like a tightrope but only wider and with the bounce of a trampoline, there is no end to the amount of fun to be had, they might even throw in a little performance if you ask nicely enough!
Ru-Slack is a social enterprise with the aim of creating social capital by developing and educating people through the medium of Slacklining. Since being founded in 2012, Ru-Slack have introduced over 25,000 people to the sport in 11 countries; from the UK to the UAE.
